Hood Food Guide Presents: Collingwood with Casey Wall & Manu Potoi
Hood Food Guide takes you to four Collingwood venues with Casey Wall & Manu Potoi to get a taste of the hood’s best breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner.
For Episode Two of Hood Food Guide, we headed North from Windsor to Collingwood. Everyone in Melbourne has an opinion on this diverse city, but whether you’re a fan or a foe, there are two things that nobody can deny– 1) Collingwood is the perfect Melbourne microcosm, and 2) The food here shows how raw, real and diverse Melbourne truly is.
Check it out.
If you need a little help sifting through the endless options up and down Smith Street, check out Episode Two of Hood Food Guide with Casey Wall and Manu Potoi. These are the two owners of Rockwell and Sons, an American-style venue with plates that consistently make it to Melbourne’s “Top Ten” food lists. These guys are Collingwood food experts, and they even brought along their closest mates–N’fa Jones (1200 Techniques), Long Tran (8bit.) and Raph Recht (Photographer)–for the best venues in the neighbourhood.
Hood Food Guide is a passion project we started over a year ago. Being filmmakers with a penchant for tasty food, we wanted to find the best eats in our city, but also uncover the stories from the people involved. The hospitality industry is a beast in Melbourne. Entertainment has never been an issue.
